tried to be creative with this one.. mixing some audio clips over beats/songs to act as intros, preludes, interludes, and postludes. this may be a little too "techno" for some of you, but I really wanted this one to be a mix that you could be active with... something to you listen to while on a run, or at the gym... or doing cock pushups.

Spring Fresh Forward

So Ive decided that if I ever become a DJ, I will go by my newly discovered alter-ego Tom Kho BoNer. For those of you who know the history of why my Mom decided that my "American" name would be Tom. Furthermore, for those who know what Tom Kho and Kho Bo means (google 'em), combine it with Boner and you might get why I went with such an alias. LOL

Truth Hurts...

so last Wednesday, I decided to get me some Chinese food for lunch. Something about Hot N Sour soup, Mongolian Beef with no onions, some white rice, and a fortune cookie for dessert sounded reeeaaaal motherflippin tasty. I usually go to Three Bros from China in San Ramon, cuz they hook it up. They give 10 % off on dine in, which you also get soup with your lunch combo too. On takeout, there's no discount, or soup... but for me, they still give me the 10% discount AND soup even when I just do takeout. SWEEEEEET, I know. So after picking up my order, and enjoying the deliciousness that is called the Mongolian Beef Lunch Special, I took my daily vitamin (as per recommended by Nikol), downed a bottle of water, and went to enjoy my dessert. No some claim that you should eat the cookie first, and then read the fortune, or crack the cookie in half, eat one side, then read the fortune, and eat the other; personally, I usually crack the fortune cookie in half, and read the fortune first, then proceed to eat the cookie. Why? Simply because what if the fortune has a message forewarning you about the cookie..."Consumption of this cookie could result in death"

You never know, right? Yeah, some of you might be thinking, "its a fortune cookie, theres no way it would every say that?" To that.. I say "BULLSHICACA!" lets take a moment to extract "fortune cookie" and define what one is supposed to be:

fortune: things that happen or are to happen to a person in his or her life; usually involving good luck; success; prosperity

cookie: a small cake made from stiff, sweet dough rolled and sliced or dropped by spoonfuls on a large, flat pan (cookie sheet) and baked.

so back to the blog... I crack my "fortune cookie" in half, and...

















fucking really? I did not need to purchase a Mongolian Beef Lunch Special for a fortune cookie to tell me the obvious. Is the economy really so bad that even fortune cookies dont have a positive outlook? Its as if theyve all decided to be like "man, fuck this economy, we're gonna start tellin you motherfuckers the truth." Shit, I wouldve preferred something ridculously stupid and opened a fortune that said something like "Sally the camel has two humps..." but "you are never given enough time or money," real talk? damn.. truth hurts like mofo.

oh, and BTdubs... the cookie was wrong, because the next day I resigned from my job so now... I have nothing BUT "enough time." Suck on that, fortune cookie.

oh and here's some good flavor for your earhole, MadCon. Theyre these Norwegian dudes that Nikols sister reintroduced me too, I already had one of their albums but went and found their other two. Think Bob Marley, Black Eyed Peas, Gnarls Barkley, De La Soul. These dudes is funky! Here are 3 of their albums I was able to get ahold of, enjoy!
